PTO – (Project Training Organization)
 This program is being supported by Vasundara State Level Nodal Agency through YASHADA – Pune, and the total funds mobilized for this program was 866,900.00. This is one of the components of IWMP – 7, 14, 16 and 23. Under this program the beneficiaries are oriented about the various types of works to be undertaken and the cost of the works to be involved. The organization AGVSS has been entrusted for imparting project related trainings to the Community based organizations (CBOs), Watershed community, stakeholders and beneficiaries.

 The members of SHGs and UGs have been imparted with project orientation trainings thus making them realize the importance of the project and its activities and consequently their roles and duties with regard to the project implementation. Similarly awareness campaigns have been carried out in the project area by making use of short plays, IEC materials, nukkad nataks/ street plays etc. Some of the community members were also taken on exposure visit to ideal villages where they learnt how through judicious use of the natural resources the village can be made self reliant in all aspects

Integrated Watershed Management Program (IWMP – 23)
 VASUNDHARA State Panlot Samiti, Pune has selected AGVSS organization as Project Implementation Agency (PIA) for implementing IWMP -23 clusters in Daryapur block of Amravati district. The organization is implementing the aforesaid project in 11 villages from 7 Gram Panchayats of Daryapur block and consists of Mega Watershed PT -2 and PT -3. The total geographical area is 6909.22 Ha and the proposed treatment area is 6492.64 Ha. Under the project, Village Watershed Committees (VWCs) have been formed which have been entrusted the maintenance of the watershed structures and monitoring of watershed activities.  Under the project Watershed Entry point activities have been completed under which solar lamps, Anganwadi playing instruments and community urinals, water cooler etc have been provided which helped in gaining the trust of the community members towards the organization and the project activities.

 Further Detailed Project Report (DPR) and Livelihood Action Plan (LAP) were submitted and the same have been sanctioned and the processes of implementation of activities have recently been started. Under the Natural Resource Management (NRM) activities 1st Phase have been completed in which 1477 Ha Graded Bund have been constructed whilst remaining area is under the process of treatment.

NLM (National Level Monitoring)
 The organization AGVSS has been empanelled by the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), New Delhi as Institutional Level Monitor for monitoring Rural Development schemes such as MGNREGA, IAY, NSAP, NRLM, NBA, NRDWP, IWMP etc. The basic premise of appointing NLM by the Ministry of Rural Development is to involve third party independent monitors so that unbiased and objective monitoring can be achieved. The organization has successfully carried out monitoring works in Warangal and Karimnagar districts of Andhra Pradesh (Phase I) and in Bhopal and Sehore Districts of Madhya Pradesh (Phase II). During the year 2012-13 the organization has carried out monitoring of the aforesaid schemes in Phase I in Kanker and Narayanpur districts of Chhattisgarh State and in Phase II in Panchmahal and Gandhinagar districts of Gujarat State and Narayanpur and Rewa districts of Madhya Pradesh State. Similarly in Phase I of 2013-14, the organization has carried out monitoring of rural development schemes in Guntur, Khammam, Krishna and West Godavari districts of Andhra Pradesh and has also submitted its detailed report along with findings and recommendations to the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), New Delhi.

MGNREGA DPR Preparation
 The organization has been entrusted with the task of preparation of DPR for MGNREGA works in Chikhaldara block by the District Collector Amravati. As part of the same the organization has carried out participatory net planning, PRA in 5 villages of Kohana Gram Panchayat, 3 villages of Bhulori GP, 2 villages of Salona GP and 3 villages of Shahapur GP ie total 13 villages. The activities proposed are GB, Farm ponds, LBS and stone bunding. The detailed project reports (DPR) along with the estimates have been duly submitted to the District Collector, Amravati.

Convergence of Agricultural Interventions in Maharashtra (CAIM)
 The organization AGVSS has been selected as PIA for implementing CAIM project in 30 villages of Hinganghat bock of Wardha district. This project is being funded by Government of Maharashtra with the support of Sir Ratan Tata Trust (SRTT) and International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD). Under this project DPR has been sanctioned and Village Development Committees have been formed in respective villages. Activities like drainage line treatment, farm bunding, propagation of Broad Band Furrow and Better Cotton Initiatives amongst the farming community members. The main objective of this project is to minimize the agrarian crises in suicide prone regions of Maharashtra and make agriculture a profitable venture through concerted actions in convergence with various line departments.

IGWDP – KfW -Preparatory Study
 The organization has been entrusted the task of carrying out preparatory study of watersheds in Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh for the final inspection of KfW, Germany team by NABARD, Mumbai. As part of the same the organization has evaluated and studied total 33 watershed from 18 districts from Maharashtra and 12 watershed from 4 districts of Andhra Pradesh and prepared detailed report along with recommendations and submitted the same to NABARD. The report covered various aspects pertaining to watershed such as soil and water conservation, plantation, horticulture, livelihood, women empowerment and reduction of drudgery to self reliance of the community members /CBOs etc.

RGIADP as a PADP in Aurangabad and Nagpur Circle under MIS (LS)
 This project has been entrusted by the Water Conservation Irrigation improvement Project Unit Pune. Under the Aurangabad circle this project is being implemented in Nanded, Aurangabad and Beed Division whist in Nagpur Circle it is implemented in Nagpur, Chandrapur and Gondia division. In Aurangabad circle total 8 schemes while in Nagpur circle total 5 schemes are being implemented. Under this project trainings on improved agriculture practices, and Khariff demonstrations have been imparted to the stakeholders. This project received sanction orders and its tenure is for 1 year ie. from 2014 to 2015.

Livelihood Resource Agency (LRA)
 VASUNDHARA has selected the organization as a Resource Agency for livelihood in Amravati district. Under this program the organization will have to undertake capacity building of stakeholders especially SHGs from the district so that their livelihood security can be ensured. Under this program the participating stakeholders shall also be undertaken on an exposure visit to places where exemplary work in the livelihood sector has been undertaken.

Formation of Joint Liability Groups
 Under this program the organization has been entrusted to form 100 Joint Liability Groups (JLGs) in 2 clusters comprising of nearly 20 villages from Teosa and Amravati block. The JLGs formed under this program shall be linked with Banks which shall in due course provided with funds (either from the banks or NABARD) for starting up small enterprises. As the name implies the liability to refund the loan amount is jointly and all the members of the group are under obligation to refund the loan amount even if any of their respective group member becomes defaulter. Such a system of JLG ensures 100% repayment of loan. Under this program as of now nearly 70 JLGs have been formed by the organization and the remaining are in the process of formation.

National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) Training
 The organization has been selected for imparting entrepreneurship trainings to SHGs from Daryapur block of Amravati district by the BDO under the National Rural Livelihood Mission. The basic objective of this program was to ensure livelihood security of the stakeholders through capacity building trainings. As part of the same total 12 SHG members from villages Nanded, Sangdud, Surjapur, Panora, Kawadgawhan, Uprai, MahuliDhande, Kalamgavhan, Shingnapur etc villages were imparted with trainings on goat rearing, sheep rearing, tailoring, grocery, business management etc. The organization has successfully imparted trainings to the aforesaid SHGs and the same shall be provided with financial assistance by the BDO

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
 The organization has been empanelled on CSR by Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation, New Delhi. The significance of this empanelment is that the corporate sector/ multinational companies desiring to undertake any developmental activities under the CSR fund will have to implement the same through voluntary organizations empanelled by the Ministry. The organization has been invited by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) for providing Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Purifier (RO Water Filters) and water coolers in government Zilla Parishad schools from Nagpur district. The organization has recently completed the survey of probable schools where such RO water filters needs to be installed and have submitted the list of such schools to BHEL authorities for finalization of same.

Formation and Strengthening of 200 SHGs in Warud block
 NABARD has entrusted the organization the task of formation and strengthening of 200 SHGs at Warud block of Amravati district. Under this program male and women groups shall be formed from the Warud block and shall be imparted with conceptual trainings on SHGs, book keeping, entrepreneurship, leadership, team building, bank linkages and marketing etc. The organization shall also strive for bank credit linkage of the aforesaid SHGs and strive for making them financially self reliant.
